**Great Stay at Sonesta Irvine!** I stayed at the Sonesta Irvine for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The staff was friendly and professional, and check-in and check-out were quick and easy. My room was spacious, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Overall, a great experience and a hotel I would happily return to. Highly recommended!

We just checked in to our room and everything is great. Vanessa at the front desk was wonderful. We got here way before the check in time and were hoping to get an early check in anyway. Our son really wanted to swim and was very impatient. First she told us she would get us the first availavle room but it could be an hour or so. I asked her if we could swim until our room was ready. She said that we had to be officically checked in to use the pool. So she checked and found a room that was ready but for someone arriving later and gave us that room. My son was so happy as was I becuase he was being a stinker and we wanted to let him burn off some energy swimming. We have stayed here many times in the last year and the rooms and staff have always been great. A special thank you to Vanessa at the front desk. I was so impressed

She went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Her friendly attitude, attention to detail, and genuine willingness to assist truly stood out. It's clear that she cares about providing outstanding guest service. Overall, our stay was pleasant. The hotel was clean, the location was convenient, and the staff we interacted with during the day were friendly and helpful. However, our experience was negatively affected by one staff member who was working at around 1:00 a.m. on July 5 (overnight from July 4 to July 5). We purchased one bottle of water, but we were charged for two. When I asked about the charge, he insisted that my boyfriend had brought both a bottle of water and a chocolate bar to the counter. That simply did not happen—we never picked up or intended to purchase a chocolate bar. The receipt also showed two bottles of water, not one bottle of water and one chocolate bar, which made his explanation even more confusing and suggested it was simply a billing error. What disappointed me most was not the mistake itself, but how it was handled. Instead of acknowledging the possibility of an error or apologizing, he repeatedly insisted that we were wrong and eventually told us to just take another bottle of water instead of correcting the mistake. Mistakes can happen, but blaming a guest for an employee’s apparent error and refusing to acknowledge it is unprofessional. This interaction left a very negative impression at the end of an otherwise enjoyable stay.

LUGGAGE CARTS No luggage carts were available at check-in RENOVATION Recent renovation means that the whole property is new, clean, and modern CHECK-IN Check in was easy, quick AMENITIES Pool and gym are great Pool and hot tub closes at 10pm So we had to go to the pool and then the gym (24 hours) afterwards when we checked in at 9pm BED The bed. Is Amazing. Firm and also pillowy. I can't explain it. Best sleep ever. QUIET Right next to freeway, I can see it out the window. But up on 11th floor, we don't hear even a whisper of it. LOCATION Convenient to Costa Mesa, Irvine, Santa Ana BREAKFAST Offered, not included Would come again
