3 months agoWe had a great stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Irvine-Orange County Airport. The property was clean, well-maintained, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location is excellent, especially for anyone flying through John Wayne Airport. Even though the hotel is practically within walking distance of the airport, the complimentary shuttle service made getting to and from the terminal quick and convenient. One feature we especially appreciated was the bar area. It's not something you typically find at a Hampton Inn, and it was a nice bonus to be able to relax with a drink after a day of traveling without having to leave the hotel. Overall, this is an excellent airport hotel with a convenient location, friendly amenities, and a well-kept property. We'd definitely stay here again the next time we're in the area.

3 months agoWe stayed 4 nights for a work event, so we got a good feel for the property. Pros: good wifi for working, comfortable beds, big room, lots of counter space between the bathroom counter and the buffet upon entry, included a refrigerator and a microwave, QUIET - couldn't hear any airplane noise from the adjacent airport (quite impressive, actually!), the free breakfast included hot items like waffles, sausage, potatoes and eggs, the front desk and housekeeping staff were pleasant and efficient, and the location is great! Cons: the room decor could use a refresh, there's some rust and discoloration in the shower, the water pressure isn't great, and the A/C is in the living room portion of the room, so it doesn't reach the bed well. We had the A/C set to 67 at night and it only got down 70 - which is ok for many, but we prefer it a bit cooler. They could be a bit more attentive at breakfast - coffee was empty by 7:00am and people had to ask for that and for food items to be refilled. Overall, we'd recommend this hotel to others.

4 months agoVery nice place to stay— we just stayed one night before our flight. Friendly and helpful staff at night and in the morning. Free shuttle to the airport too. The rooms are big and comfortable with good mattress. Offers separate shower-room with door, big desk for working, kitchenette with lots of counter space with mini fridge and microwave. We would stay again.

6 months agoThis place is great! I stayed there for few days for a business trip to Irvine and it was so perfect! The place is so near to airport and they have free shuttle services. There was a bar downstairs and they were so friendly. The breakfast spread was so nice and the gym has got the important gears to have a quick workout. Overall it was perfect in service, cleanliness and ofcourse the food. Special thanks to Saad, Salamat pre!

9 months agoWe stayed here on 2-19-26. Worst Issue: This building VIBRATES CONSTANTLY. You feel it everywhere even when you are in bed. I called the front desk. They sent someone up who said they would check and be back. Never saw or heard from them again. Apparently, they just pretend it's not happening. Constant vibration is not good for building structures. I think someone should reinspect it for safety. Hotel was clean and well-maintained (it's new). The decor is jarring. Mustard yellow, white and black contemporary. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was terrible, definitely not prepared there unless you count reheating frozen food.
