I stay here a week at a time to visit my grandbaby who lives across the street .Price: it’s mid priced but Marriott points add up, . Nice fire pit, grounds pretty, pool nice, small but nice , hot tub , Starbucks on premises, good service staff wonderful cleaning staff always give me extra coffee etc . The only negative is$25 night parking . It should be included in the $160 / night . Makes me boil they charge extra for parking . They have shuttle to airport (and close to John Wayne Airport )great location in general . I’m really happy with the facility. I spend alot of time here :) could go elsewhere, but I like it has everything I need and more .

This was easily one of the worst Courtyard properties I have ever stayed at, and I would strongly recommend booking elsewhere. Upon check-in, I was informed that corporate rate bookings are automatically assigned to first-floor rooms until the floor reaches capacity, regardless of high room preference or Marriott status. This resulted in being placed in a ground-floor room featuring a full-size glass back door exposed directly to the street—a major safety and privacy concern. Compounding the poor experience, the hotel suffers from terrible cell signal requiring a forced reliance on their Wi-Fi, and the constant, creaking from every step in the rooms above made rest extremely difficult.

Historically, I’ve preferred Marriott properties, but my recent stays have not met the standards I’ve come to expect. We booked this location earlier in 2026 for a two?night stay. The first impression was positive: The location is excellent, the property appeared well maintained, and there was ample parking in the back. The front desk staff was pleasant during check?in. We arrived late in the evening after driving from the Bay Area and managed to get food just before the front?area food court closed. Unfortunately, the staff member there seemed irritated that we ordered so close to closing time. The food itself was fine, though in hindsight it might have been better to grab fast food elsewhere rather than feel like we were inconveniencing the staff. The biggest issue was the room cleanliness. While the room was generally okay, it was not clean. Most concerning was the presence of a brown substance outside the toilet—something that should never be missed by housekeeping. Given the late hour and the likelihood that no cleaning staff were available, we cleaned it ourselves. Aside from the entrance area, front desk and lobby, the rest of the hotel had a distinctly motel?like feel, both in atmosphere and overall experience. This was surprising, especially for a property located in Irvine. I will not stay here again. The price point was far above what one would expect for a motel, yet that is exactly the level of cleanliness and overall vibe I felt I received.

The rooms are so old- the location and team are great but they have given the lobby a facelift but the rooms desperately need one too. The carpets are so old I don’t walk barefoot on them and I have to keep the window open for fresh air. Staff is very nice and they have a shuttle to airport which is nice too

5 Star to Edlin and Jonathan!! Ms. Edlin made check-in quick, easy, and welcoming with such a positive attitude. You could tell she genuinely cared about making us feel at home even with how busy everything was.. (Fourth of July weekend.) And Jonathan was just as amazing during check-out. Friendly, efficient, and upbeat, he made the process seamless. The hospitality from both of them really stood out. Thank you so much!!! Edlin and Jonathan, you both rock!!
