The Hilton Garden Inn Irvine/Orange County Airport offers a convenient location near attractions like the airport, beach, and Disneyland, with positive feedback on cleanliness and friendly staff. However, guests have noted concerns about parking fees and limited parking availability, as well as potential issues with breakfast access after checking out.
We traveled from New Jersey to California for the Girls Academy Soccer Championship, 6/17-6/21 and our team parent chose the Hilton Garden Inn Irvine, Orange County because it could accommodate 15 families traveling with children. Overall, I thought the hotel was a bit pricey, especially with the additional $30 daily parking fee. However, there were several positives that made our stay enjoyable. Our group received complimentary breakfast each morning, which was a great benefit for so many families. The location was excellent—close to shopping, restaurants, beaches, and other sightseeing attractions. Our room and bathroom were clean and smelled fresh. The in-room refrigerator was convenient for storing food and bottled water. One area that could use improvement is the carpeting throughout the hotel, which looked a little dusty and worn. A deep carpet cleaning would make the property feel even cleaner. The fitness center, pool, and laundry room are all located on the second floor. While it was convenient to have them in one area, the laundry room was quite small. Since many families were staying for the soccer , Basketball, softball tournaments, there was often a line of parents waiting to wash and dry uniforms after games. The staff was friendly, kind, and always willing to help, which made our stay more enjoyable. Despite a few minor drawbacks, we had a pleasant experience and appreciated the hotel's convenient location and family-friendly amenities.
The service is great, absolutely friendly staff thank you Tyler at the front desk for the help and guidance of the hotel, local amenities and popular locations. The room service and cleaning staff are very swift. Only downside is its 30$ a night for parking but I cant cant blame the great staff for corporate greed
Two things to look out for at this location: parking and crickets. There’s nowhere near enough parking to accommodate guests here, your best bet is ubering. Suggest parking, if you can, then paying the $30/night fee. I couldn’t get this cricket out of my shower so we had to agree to coexist without bothering each other. The night I was there was travel ball night, quite interesting when the kids go to bed. Anyway, can’t be too harsh on the place but just be aware of parking.
The only down fall from this hilton was we checked out of our room at 553 this morning. The breakfast starts at 6. All I wanted to grab was a banana and an orange and the breakfast staff told me that since I checked out already even know checkout is at 11:00 that I could not grab an orange and a banana I would have to pay for that because I already checked out of my room. Even though that I paid for the room through 11:00 but since it was 5 minutes to she did not allow me to take a quick snack to the airport without paying for it. I just thought that was very unprofessional of the hotel since you pay good rates and parking for the amenities. Other than that the service was good the rooms were clean
Before diving into the details, I want to give a huge THANK YOU to the front desk’s Dorothy and the restaurant team—Jackie, Stacey, and Pepe. Your warmth and professionalism set the tone for an exceptional stay. I've been a Hilton Honors Member since 2006, this property is perfectly located near the airport, the beach, Disneyland, and several other attractions. The entire hotel is impressively clean—from the lobby and public restrooms to the elevators, entryways, parking lot, and garage. The Wi?Fi signal is strong in both the lobby and the rooms, and the digital key experience worked flawlessly. In-room amenities like the Keurig coffee maker, soft towels, and spotless bathroom were all on point. The beds were comfortable, and the extra power outlets on the nightstand were a welcome touch. While the rooms run a bit on the smaller side, the thoughtful amenities more than make up for it. The restaurant and bar are fantastic, 4 large TV's, Menu offering everything from kid-friendly bites to full entrées. Breakfast is especially convenient starting off with a self serve Coffee/Hot water island or relax and your table and enjoy service. Three solid options: continental, made-to-order, or buffet.
