Convenient location close to a number of businesses. Shuttle service to any location within 3 miles as well as to the airport. Breakfast staff were quite friendly. Shuttle drivers were nice as well. Nice large rooms. But could be cleaner and maybe a refresh. The carpets in the room were a bit worn and some of the surfaces were a bit dusty/dirty. Overall though a nice hotel to stay in.

Exceptional Service and a Beautiful Venue – 5 Stars! When it came time to plan my 50th birthday celebration, I wanted a venue that would make this milestone truly special. After a disappointing experience with my original venue, I was relieved to discover the DoubleTree by Hilton Irvine – Spectrum. From my very first visit, I knew I had found the perfect place, and it exceeded all of my expectations. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Catering Sales Manager Noel Vasin and the outstanding staff members Julie and Alex. From the beginning, they were professional, accommodating, and genuinely committed to making my event a success. Their guidance and attention to detail made the planning process smooth and stress-free. The venue itself is beautiful. Guests were welcomed through an elegant foyer, where I was able to create a stunning entrance with balloon decorations lining the hallway. The banquet room was the perfect setting for my celebration, and I was extremely pleased with the room layout, table arrangements, and overall presentation. The hotel also provided round mirrors and votive candles that beautifully complemented my centerpieces and enhanced the décor. The food was excellent. I selected the chicken and salmon entrées for my guests, and throughout the evening I received numerous compliments on both selections. Everything was prepared perfectly and served promptly. The cash bar was a great addition, and the champagne toast helped make the evening feel even more festive and memorable. What truly set this venue apart was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member was attentive, friendly, and dedicated to ensuring that everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Their professionalism allowed me to relax and fully enjoy celebrating this important milestone with my family and friends. This celebration was especially meaningful to me because it took place shortly after the loss of my mother. During a difficult time in my life, the kindness, compassion, and professionalism shown by the DoubleTree team helped create an evening filled with joy, love, and cherished memories that I will never forget. If you have allergies avoid this place I think all the rooms are carpet and carpet carries smells and dust plus the vents were dust-ified and there’s no way to open a window I found that when the AC was on I didn’t have allergies cause it circulated the room, if you don’t it’s quite cozy and feels like a family members old place sure it’s a little scuffed up but I’m willing to turn a blind eye. My room was bug free and the workers were really nice and helpful they made my first time at a hotel feel easier. Also you can ask the hotel to hold your bags for you before check in and even after checkout and you can still use their shuttle after checkout I thought that was cool. I just don’t think I can comeback unless they start putting hardwood or non carpet floors however it was a cool first time thank you doubletree ?

Good breakfast buffet, small gym and nice pool and hot tub. Big room, but the TV didn't work (and even if had Hilton still doesn't have Chromecast), bathroom ceiling somehow had a lots of hairs on it, the shower leaked constantly wasting water, and the tub didn't drain so I was standing in a half foot of water when showering. Ample parking with reasonable rates. Friendly staff.

I accompanied my husband on a business trip and stayed at the Doubletree Irvine Spectrum. My husband has stayed here a few other times before this trip, he always praises how clean the room is and how great the service is. I will agree with him for the most part, service was top notch, every employee we came across was fabulous, we truly felt welcome. The hotel does appear clean, I however have exceptional attention to detail and found a few things that they could definitely improve on but none of them would keep me from staying there again. No fan in the bathroom... why? The whole room steams up and then you can see how dirty the windows are. No light above coffee station and no trash can beneath it. Hard to see what you are doing and inconvenient to have to move the trash cans around. There was hair on the bathroom ceiling and the area below the sink really needed to be cleaned. There was dust above all the pictures, mirrors and lamps. Im not trying to be critical just give an honest review in the opinion of someone that looks at EVERYTHING. The conditioner bottle was missing when we checked in but the front desk got us a bottle right away. The jacuzzi light was like a strobe light the first night we were there but it was fixed the following day. I would totally recommend staying ? The shuttle is awesome and we were so close to the Spectrum Center.
