The staff was friendly and the shower had hot water and decent water pressure. The breakfast was fine but that is all I can say positively. The smell of disinfectant was so overpowering in the lobby and the room we stayed in, yet the tile floors in both areas still appeared dirty. There were holes in the carpet and stains all over the room walls. The TV, refrigerator, and WiFi didn’t work in our room. I could get WiFi in the lobby but that was it. We checked in early evening so I didn’t get a chance to ask about the TV and WiFi until the next day. The front desk gave me another tv remote to try but that didn’t work. They didn’t have any spare batteries to see if that was the problem, so no TV. And when I mentioned the WiFi signal wasn’t strong enough to connect in the room they said the person that could try to fix it left at 4pm that day. We were checking out the next day so it didn’t matter by then. Unfortunately this location has gone downhill. We’ve stayed at this same La Quinta a few other occasions when visiting family because it’s convenient. I’ve never had high expectations for LaQuinta, but this was exceptionally unpleasant. We will find a new place to stay when we visit family in this area.

We absolutely love our stay so far. Great location. Front desk staff was excellent. Danny went above and beyond for our family. He was patient, kind and accommodating. Historic hotel ??. We brought my Dad and he loves it as well. Thank you for the hospitality!

My room was in the "other building" which used to be some kind of bean mill or something. It looks like a prison. The building old and the rooms haven't been updated for years (I'm assuming). My room was not clean, especially the carpet. Just outside my room was a railroad track. The desk person who checked me in said trains don't come through after midnight. We'll, at 3:30 am a train passed by. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good (waffles, fruit, and coffee). There's a reason why this hotel is less expensive than others near by.

My family and I checked into this hotel last Saturday. We stayed maybe an hour. Enough time to search for another hotel so we could high tail it out of there. The room was the worst I have ever been in. Cigarette ashes on the ground stains everywhere AC unit falling apart. We lifted the sheets fo see what the mattress looked like and found very disturbing stains along with hole on the bottom of the mattress. Bathroom has brown stains everywhere and the entry door looked to appear to have old blood stains or something of that color dripping down it. We wouldn't even allow our children to sit on the holey couch that was in the room. Outside were many people just lurking around. Never again will we stay at this hotel. Staff was nice when we politely told them we could not stay at this hotel. I gave it one star due to it not being able to post without one. I will say the location deserves the star if you take out the train that runs right along the room windows.

Stayed here for a short trip and overall it was okay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. Staff at check-in were polite, but the service felt a bit slow during busy hours. The location is convenient, especially if you’re visiting nearby spots in Irvine. Breakfast was decent but could use more variety. Not a bad stay, just a few small things that could be improved.
